I hope you're right a bout PS3 being the dogs noodles in a couple of years and I also think it will be, but that stuff about ps2 better than XBOX and PC are you NUTTS? yeah they managed to get amazing things from the PS2 no doubt. I suppose I'm a bit of a 360 fanboy, but this doesn't mean I hate Sony or PS3, in fact I'd love one and I'm sure I will have one SOMEDAY.
It does make you think though, why would developers say these things if it wasn't at least partically true?
I'm am now having doubts has to whether it's worth me spending a small fortune on a PS3 when it may only be slightly better or god forbid worse than what I already have.

I was looking forward to this, well I still am, but it's really annouying when things are announced only to change the following day. Why don't people make sure they know what's what before they announce stuff. It's about time this industry started getting things right first time! eg. Just about every game released has to be patched due to lag. Don't they test? I know I've kinda gone off on one but, this sort of thing is getting to be a regular thing. Boo! Boo! Boo!
About time, can't wait to give my PC fanboy mates an ass whoping. I hope one day we can play PS3 Vs 360 on multi-platform games like COD3 or something similar, that would be so much fun.

I read somewhere on the net, that MS have already tried to combat thus by basically covering all the relivant circuits with a load of really hard to remove glue.
I think it maybe time to trade in BattleField2, this looks like it will best it! The additon of vehicles will be great. OHHH YESSS(voice of churchill the dog).
You can play NES, SNES, PS1 etc.. on XBOX basically anything less powerfull. I don't think that you'll be able to play PS3 games on a 360 or vice versa though because they are too similar power wise, I would have thought, that neither of them will have enough power to run an emulator + the game it's self without serious slow down, but you never know.
Regarding this mod chip, I'm sure MS will do something to stop pirate games from working on 'live'. Maybe not in the fall update...
I would like to bet that this exclusive quest will be made on the 360 as an additional download on the XBLIVE market place, eventually, maybe after it's PS3 release.
Europe will get screwed again. There is NO WAY! that these games will retail at £27. 50USD = 50GBP. Chuffin rip off. Why the hell do we always get a bum deal? Do they think Europe is loaded or something?

Just Kidding, This game is reving up to be the best game ever(well for a long time). I think even the mighty Halo3 will have to go some to beat this. Personally I can't wait, I'm just iching to play it.
For anyone who is planing to get a PS3 and hasn't already play OBLIVION on 360 or PC THIS IS A MUST BUY! Unless you really hate RPG's. This game looks good, plays great(yeah there are bugs). It lasts for ages, expansion packs are being made regularly. I've been playing it on and off since it's release and I'm still playing it even tho I've all the achievements, There's just so many side quest, it's great fun discovering new places and bashing the crap out of whatever you find. VALUE FOR MONEY...
I think they're doing something similar to SIMS2 where eventually your character will grow old and die at which point you will be able to continue the adventure using one of your children. I think this will also apply to the NPC's as it seems logical to me that if the world around you is going to evolve then the characters within them must.
